Hero Dog: The Journey Home (Against The Wild III) Soundtrack

Hero Dog: The Journey Home (Against The Wild III) is apparently the latest installment in the Against the Wild film series, which I worked on first as an orchestrator and now as a film composer. Richard Boddington, who directs the series, deliberately chooses the style of a family adventure film, casting children in the lead roles who must survive in the harsh outdoors.

The first episode was set in the colourful vast forests of Canada. The next in sequence was set in Africa and the third deals with war veteran Royce Davis (Steve Byers) who is blind and sails a boat across a lake to rejoin his family and his sister (Susan Wade) . The captain of the boat suddenly collapses and Royce must find help. An Alaskan Malamute, Chinook (the hero of the previous episodes), gets him ashore and serves as his guide dog on his journey through the wilderness. He must protect him from the many dangers of the treacherous terrain and predatory animals. Meanwhile, Davis’ children Max (Zackary Arthur) and Erin (Morgan DiPietrantonio) run away from home unnoticed to search for their missing father on their own. The film also stars John Tench (known for Stargate and From Dusk Till Dawn), who plays the leader of the rescue operation.

The soundtrack is not yet released but there is a possibility of releasing it in Canada and Europe, you can get it for now in mp3 quality (320kbit) for 275Kč
